Smoky Garlic Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • (8 (2 packs)) Chicken Drumsticks
  • (1/4 cup) Olive Oil
  • (4) Garlic Cloves
  • (1 Tbsp) Smoked Paprika
  • (1/2 Tbsp) Chili Powder
  • (2 Tbsp) Parsley (Fresh, chopped)
  • (1 Tbsp) Oregano (Fresh, chopped)
  • (2 medium) Green Onions (sliced)
  • (To taste) Salt
  • (To taste) Black Pepper
  • (A dash) Red Pepper Flakes (Optional for an extra kick)

Directions

Personalize the recipe to your taste buds - add some extra heat or lessen it, tune up the garlic or take it down. You can also bake this recipe, just the same, alternative to grilling, if preferred.

  1. Preheat grill to 425 degrees F.
  2. Season drumsticks individually with salt and pepper.
  3. Mince garlic cloves and chop fresh herbs and onion.
  4. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, paprika, chili powder, fresh parsley and oregano. Add in optional red pepper flakes here, if desired.
  5. Brush the drumsticks with the oil garlic mixture evenly on all sides.
  6. Place drumsticks on heated grill.
  7. Grill for 30 minutes, turning every 5 minutes) or so until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F and no pink remains.
  8. Serve with green onions on top and enjoy!
