Ingredients

  • (1/4 cup) honey
  • (2 Tbsp) lemon juice
  • (1 Tbsp (2-3 cloves)) garlic, minced
  • (2 tsp) soy sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • (1-2 Tbsp) olive oil
  • (4) Pork Bone-in Chops

Directions

The glaze can be made ahead of time and kept in the fridge until you are ready to cook the pork chops. Be sure to pull the pork chops out of the freezer and thaw before cooking! They should be about room temperature to have the best cook on them.

  1. To make the glaze, combine the honey, lemon juice, garlic, and soy sauce. Mix together and keep in the fridge until ready to use.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium - low heat.
  4. Sear pork chops for about 3 minutes, until browned on one side.
  5. Flip chops over and sear for another 3 minutes on the other side.
  6. Reduce heat to low and pour glaze mixture into the skillet, over the pork chops.
  7. Cook for another 4 - 8 minutes until pork is cooked. *Pork should be cooked to 145 degrees F, internally.
  8. Removed pork chops from skillet and cook glaze down an additional 4 minutes or until syrup like consistency. Be sure to constantly scrape it from the bottom of the skillet to keep it from burning.
  9. Add thickened glaze over the top of the pork chops, serve, and enjoy!
